St Anthony’s Catholic Primary School and Nursery
At St Anthony’s we believe that every child is a unique being, created in the image of God. We work as a community of love to ensure that every child achieves the very best that they can be. We promote a love of God and a love of one another and this is demonstrated in the way we work, learn, grow and live together.
We offer a rich and diverse curriculum that is personalised to the needs of the children. We promote British values such as tolerance, fairness, respect for other faiths and for people with no faith, and the rules of law and democracy. Our pupils are actively involved in promoting the UNICEF Rights Respecting agenda in their daily school life and through community based tasks and activities. Our curriculum empowers the creative, develops the spiritual, inspires a love of learning and cultivates the skills of life in modern Britain and for careers which may not even exist as yet. We work in partnership with the Diocese, other schools in addition to those in the St Peter Catholic Academy Trust, specialist teachers and parents to offer the widest of opportunities to enhance the lives of all within our school. We are part of a global society and ensure that our children are exposed to learning across the world by linking with schools in Sri-Lanka and China.
We are a happy, thriving school where we value respect and commitment to service and where the children and their needs are our prime concern.
